Hindu & Eenadu , and single copies of Times of India, Indian Express ,

3. It is resolved to place a separate
stand for reference of Dictionary.
4. It is resolved to provide internet
connection & Printer facility in the library.
5. It is resolved to take assistance of
NSS students for dusting, and placing Barcode Slips on the books, and also
Labels on the Spine of the books.
6. To provide more lights, and wall
mount fans, between the cupboards.

The Librarian briefed about the Library
advisory Committee and its functions and gave an account of the existing
collections of books, Journals, the process of Library automation. Its current
status and various services offered in the library.
The committee felt satisfied with the
collection of Books, Journals and facilities provided in the library. However,
for improving the overall facility of library, the following resolutions were
made with resolutions were made with respect to collection services and
automation
1. It is resolved to allow faculty
members to borrow 5 books at a time, it is further resolved more item 5 books
2. It is resolved to subscribe at least
one Journal/Magazine in each subject.
3. It is resolved to buy books related
to NET/SLET, AUCET, in the corresponding subject areas.
4. It is resolved to appoint a person
for data entry in Soul Package.
5. It is resolved to Barcode the books
in the library in a phased manner in the first phase use active collection duly
identified by the faculty member be barcoded on priority basis, and the second
phase the remaining in collection will be barcoded.
6. The committee resolved to display
the details of following collection and floor plan in the Reading Room.
